Radical Resilience

Radical Resilience is not about being self-sufficient on a farm someplace, but rather bringing life, hope, love, thriving and resistance to evil wherever God has placed you. We are the salt and light of the world. A city on a hill, which cannot be hidden. We are to thrive, not for our own ends, but for others and the kingdom of God.

Preparing to thrive

“Who's Your Banker? Who's Your Farmer? Who's Your Sheriff? Where's Your Money?” ~Catherine Austin Fitts

RESILIENT?

If you can't answer these questions (and a few others) you likely are not radically resilient. That said, you are not alone.

Over 95% of the population in the United States do not know who their sheriff is, let alone their banker and especially not their farmer.

It was the questions posed by Catherine Austin Fitts, along with the experience that my husband and I had from living & working abroad with the military and international organizations, that led us to start an 11 acre gentleman's farm in Virginia that provided food for 60 families.

From there we started the Marine Corp Wounded Warrior Farming Program (featured by PBS on Polyface Farm) and finally we moved to an 1100 acre regenerative agriculture operation in Idaho where we were featured in Fortune Magazine and became profitable within three years by practicing agriculture according to Biblical principles.

We thought we were fully on mission but God allowed us to go through a tragedy and a 40 month walkabout in the desert to learn the power of ABIDING in Him, resting in the shelter of the most high.

COVID in 2020 was not a surprise to us. The coming food shortages are not a surprise to us. What is a surprise is how many people believe they are powerless to make a difference in their health, their home, their neighborhood and their local community.

Isaiah 33:6 says, "And he will be the stability of your times, abundance of salvation, wisdom, and knowledge; the fear of the Lord is Zion's treasure."

And with that verse, Radical Resilience was born.

PROMISE

Our promise is simple – to provide well vetted accurate information and support that you can trust from experts that walk their talk.

We understand that life is sacred and that in order to live as we were designed to live, we must work and take care of the land and animals in accordance with holistic Biblical design- honoring the land and recognizing that

"You, as a food buyer, have the distinct privilege of proactively participating in shaping the world your children will inherit." -Joel Salatin, Polyface Farm

VISION

To create and support decentralized communities that are radically resilient, stable in all times with an abundance of salvation, wisdom and knowledge, fearing the Lord and rejoicing always.

MISSION

To educate and empower individuals, pastors and community leaders to develop and grow radically resilient communities that are able to thrive through their knowledge and practices in those areas that are critical to life- health, food, shelter, communication, education, trade (work & financial) and preservation of life.

TENT MAKERS

We are not a non-profit organization or ministry. That is intentional. We believe that we are to be tent makers as well as to teach others how to be tent makers.

We recognize that we cannot do this alone and are looking forward to working with angel investors to build a team that will knock out Goliath and cut off his head.

FourSteps

Four steps to becoming radically resilient

step 1

Mindset

Resilience starts in the mind, heart/spirit. We know and believe: Romans 8:28, Philippians 4:13, and many more. With the mind of Christ we can perceive and walk in the Truth. When you know, believe and practice the truth the truth will set you free.

step 2

Take the next step

We are all gifted in different areas. As a community each of us needs to care and do what we are gifted to do. PRAY about the next step and DO WHAT YOU CAN. Then take the next step after that. Whether it is storing extra food, saving resources, planting a garden, growing chickens, rabbits or sprouting on your countertop.

step 3

Walk in the truth

Each step you take toward resilience will lead to resilience. Perhaps it is eating local & organic, litigating against EMFs, not spraying your lawn with poison,  playing games with your children & ditching media, going for a hike, helping a neighbor in need. Let your steps change the direction of your life.

step 4

Become a Resource

Not everyone acknowledges the depth of what is happening all around them. Gently work with your family, friends, neighbors, church and community to influence them towards the truth. Celebrate life. Don’t live in fear. Vote. Serve. Help. Become a resilient kingdom resource.
